Meade Natural Heritage Association

Sign up your youth or new hunter for one of the Hunter Safety Classes being offered at the Patuxent Refuge National Wildlife Visitors Center ~ 10901 Scarlet Tanager Loop Laurel MD 20708.

Being safe while hunting is always important, especially since we may carry firearms and other hunting devices.

Taking a hunter safety class should educate hunters in an attempt to reduce accidents from happening with the training provided which includes the concept of tree stand safety which is the cause of more fatalities than firearm accidents in Maryland.

The goals of Maryland's Hunter Education Program is to develop safe ~ responsible ~ and knowledgeable hunters in an effort to pass along the traditions and the total nature experience.

To view class dates and times please log onto the website register-ed.com and check for a class that fits your schedule.  Class types would be shown as Classroom Course and Internet Field Day Workshop.
